AVATAR IN CONCERT Avatar performing at “The Light Center”, Black Mountain N.C. May 2007 The Vision: “Power of the One”: Avatar has been together over three years now, though our souls no doubt have known each other for a much longer time span! In that relatively short period of time we have created over 400 original lyrics & music collectively! Our songs enlighten, empower and educate through joy, transformation and peace.  The Mission: “Love More!”: After forming, Avatar immediately produced a mini-CD entitled “Invitation” for Hurricane Katrina relief; our second full-length CD was produced through JP Audio Labs of Colfax, NC, and is entitled “Inward Journey” And recently we completed our third CD at Beech Studio in Lexington, NC: “We Are the Gift”. When we give out Love through our music it comes back to us in like measure, pressed down and overflowing. Realizing our inner connectedness we move forward in love to help others awaken the love within them and find the words and music within their own hearts.    The Members: An eclectic, proactive & multigenerational group, we range from teen to 60+ years-young & come from many diverse musical & artistic backgrounds sharing a vision of the One with all.    The Group: We have been referred to as post-gnostic, a living work of art and Unity’s answer to the Polyphonic Spree, since we incorporate dance & drama into our music, and engage our audiences in an inward musical journey of participation & fun!     Please contact Avatar, set & confirm engagements at famsowers@bellsouth.net or call (336) 650-0817.    We enthusiastically sing for the One!
